My Philosophy
The sight and smell of flowers enhances a person's day and creates feelings for lasting memories. Franklin Floral Boutique provides fresh, beautiful bouquets and floral arrangements as well as unique and personal gifts for all occasions.
I am a small business. When you shop with Franklin Floral Boutique, your order is processed, designed and shipped by me. There is no drop shipping or outsourcing to other florists.
My background is in art. I am a floral designer who approaches each arrangement as a work of art.
About Frank Giugliano
I am a floral designer, graphic artist, baker, horror movie enthusiast and an avid coffee drinker located on Long Island in New York. My interest in flowers and plants began in early childhood and are included in some of my earliest memories.
Before I graduated elementary school, I was already growing vegetables, wild flowers and experimenting with a small pumpkin patch. Each summer I would create bouquets from flowers I had picked from my own garden; wrapping them in large hydrangea leaves and gifting them to my mom and other relatives.
Bouquet vs Arrangement
A bouquet is a hand held arrangement of flowers that is meant to be placed in a container of water.
Before Big Box stores such as TJ Max, Home Goods and Home Sense were accessible, people had less access to vases. Nowadays everyone seemingly has more vases in their home than they know what to do with.
By eliminating the vase, I am able to keep my cost down; which I have passed on to you.
We do however deliver arrangements in vases via our corporate program.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?
…a HAND-TIED BOUQUET OR an ARRANGEMENT
HAND-TIED BOUQUET as the name suggests, flowers are loosely placed together, wrapped in paper and tied with a ribbon. Upon receiving, customers are advised to cut a quarter inch off the stems before placing in a container
A FLORAL ARRANGEMENT is designed in a vase and ready to display upon receipt.
