_my Philosophy
The sight and smell of flowers enhances a person's day and creates feelings for lasting memories. Franklin Floral Boutique provides fresh, beautiful bouquets and floral arrangements as well as unique and personal gifts for all occasions.
I am a small business. When you shop with Franklin Floral Boutique, your order is processed, designed and shipped by me. There is no drop shipping or outsourcing to other florists such as is the case with the big, known name "flower pushers." I personally speak with and exchange messages with all my customers.
My background is in art. I am a floral designer who approaches each arrangement as a work of art. After obtaining my bachelor's degree from Hofstra University, I worked for many years with design forward companies including J. Crew, Tiffany & Co., Chico's, Moroccan Oil, and more. Whether designing a catalog, an in-store visual, a billboard or a floral arrangement, the approach remains the same; develop a scheme with the appropriate use of color, size and shape.

I am a floral designer, graphic artist, baker, horror movie enthusiast and an avid coffee drinker located on Long Island in New York. My interest in flowers and plants began in early childhood and are included in some of my earliest memories.
Before I graduated elementary school, I was already growing vegetables, wild flowers and experimenting with a small pumpkin patch. Each summer I would create bouquets from flowers I had picked from my own garden; wrapping them in large hydrangea leaves and gifting them to my mom and other relatives.
_delivery <Versus> Shipping
In the metro (lower) NY area, floral arrangements are hand delivered on a specified day. Hand delivery areas are as follows:
- Hand delivery is available to Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx and Long Island
All orders placed outside the metro NY area are shipped via UPS, Next Day Air. The arrangement is designed, tied firmly and placed in a water pack optimal shipping.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?
…a HAND-TIED BOUQUET OR an ARRANGEMENT
HAND-TIED BOUQUET as the name suggests, flowers are loosely placed together, wrapped in paper and tied with a ribbon. Upon receiving, customers are advised to cut a quarter inch off the stems before placing in a container
A FLORAL ARRANGEMENT is designed in a vase and ready to display upon receipt.
